This place is 100% worth the 5 star rating. I heard about this place through word of mouth and I came with a friend to check it out. First, the outside seating ambiance is incredibly cozy and can feel intimate depending on where you’re seated. The waiters were very kind and courteous as well. Also, the Thai iced tea had a chocolatey taste to it. Could’ve been better but I won’t take off any stars for it. Through my research, I decided to get the Hor Mok (crab curry puff) and the Panang Nuer (Short Rib Curry). The crab curry puff is one of the more unique appetizers I’ve had and lives up to the hype. It’s flavorful and a bit spicy without being too hard on the palette. The short rib curry is incredibly flavorful, rich, and balanced. One of the best first bites I’ve had in a long time. And the short rib itself is seasoned with the intent to be eaten with the curry sauce. Not by itself, which when it all comes together (rice, rib, curry), you have a Top 3 Thai curry in New York City and I don’t say that lightly. Shoutout to Bank, the manager working that night for his kindness as well. I will be back

10/10 Date Night Spot! We had the most phenomenal experience at Sukh for date night! We came as a walk-in and waited about 45 minutes for a table, which we honestly didn't mind at all because it was absolutely worth it. Our waitress took care of us! She was so lovely, friendly, and full of great recommendations. Her suggestions were spot on! We ordered two appetizers, three entrées, and three cocktails, and every single thing was a 10/10. Everything was perfectly made, expertly seasoned, and so, so, so delicious. There wasn't a single miss. I can absolutely see why this place has such incredible ratings. The food, drinks, and service were all exceptional. I highly recommend Sukh to anyone looking for an amazing Thai restaurant in Brooklyn, and we'll definitely be back!

We came on on Monday evening without any reservations. We were seated pretty quickly. The staff was pretty friendly. We ordered two cocktails and two entrées. Both dishes were super flavorful. Everything was well balanced. A little sour a little salty little sweet, a little spicy. The ambience and interior design is beautiful. The cocktails, even though they had good intention behind them didn’t pack a punch. They felt pretty watered down in the ice was melting rather quickly. The service was OK when we first got in towards halfway into our meal the server kind of just disappeared. If I were to come back, it would be strictly just for the food. The service could be a little bit better. And the cocktails need improvement if they’re going to be charging $18-$20 per drink.

Food - This Thai restaurant in Fort Greene, Brooklyn, serves delicious food, like the hor mok which is a steamed branzino curry custard that you have to get. The summer specials that stood out to me were the Pha Pu Nim (soft shell crab) and the Chu-Chee Goong (tiger prawns in red curry). Service - The staff were kind and helpful with answering my questions and explaining the menu items. Vibes - I love the warm and cozy atmosphere with their train-themed interior design. There is quite a bit of indoor space, perfect for small groups at booths or 1-2 people at smaller tables or at the bar. There is also outdoor seating. Went without a reservation and were able to get a table in about 20–30 minutes, which honestly wasn’t bad at all for the crowd. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. We ordered one summer special dish, a classic Pad Thai, and one signature appetizer, and it ended up being a huge amount of food for just two people. Definitely one of the best Thai restaurants I’ve had in NYC — easily a top-tier spot in my opinion. My only minor complaint is that there’s only one bathroom. Other than that, the service, food, and atmosphere were all excellent.
